Perfumed rice of Asian origin cultivated in Italy. It has a long and thin grain with a delicate scents of jasmine. Recommended for garnishing or boiled with vegetables.

Apollo Rice e with vegetables and soy

Ingredients (serves 4): 250g Perfumed Apollo Rice, 300g chopped vegetables (leeks, carrots, celery, courgettes), 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, 3 tablespoons soy sauce, salt.

Preparation: Put the rice in a pot filled with cold, salted water (1.5cm higher than the rice level). Bring it to the boil, cover and let it cook for 20 minutes. In the meantime, boil the vegetables for few minutes, drain them and toast them shortly in the heated oil with a pinch of salt. Put the rice in a serving dish, mix with the vegetables and dress the whole with soy sauce.
